About This Place

Superba Food + Bread Venice is a vibrant culinary gem nestled in the heart of Venice, California, masterfully blending Californian and American flavors with an artisan bakery’s touch. Located at 1900 Lincoln Blvd, this spot is not just a restaurant but a warm, inviting experience where every dish tells a story of fresh ingredients and creative flair.

Step inside and you’ll find a relaxed yet thoughtfully designed space that perfectly complements the menu’s comfort-food vibe with a modern twist. The casual indoor-outdoor seating invites you to savor every bite while soaking in the Venice energy.

The menu is a delightful symphony of breakfast and all-day dishes where standout items steal the spotlight. Bite into the Breakfast Sandwich or dive into the richness of the Fried Chicken Sandwich, both bursting with bold, balanced flavors that linger pleasurably. For a truly elevated brunch, the Croque Madame offers that classic French indulgence, while the Chilaquiles with Fried Eggs brings a vibrant salsa verde tang with just the right kick of charred poblano and creamy cotija cheese.

Bread lovers will appreciate that Superba bakes everything fresh on site, ensuring textures that range from crisp to pillowy soft. The charred thick-cut bread and croissant French toast are perfect examples of this craft, marrying smoky, buttery edges with tender, flaky interiors. Customers have noted that the Grain Pancake offers a heartier, cornbread-like texture, providing a comforting, rustic contrast to traditional fluffy pancakes.

The beverage program is equally compelling, featuring expertly brewed coffee and unique sips like the Activated Charcoal Cortado, which surprises and delights with its smooth intensity and striking appearance. And if you have a sweet tooth, the Warm Cinnamon Bun, though on the sweeter side, delivers a nostalgic, gooey embrace that’s hard to resist.

Praise from diners highlights generous portions and thoughtfully prepared meals. One guest lauded the perfectly cooked eggs and toast, noting the freshness and precise seasoning, while another recommended the crispy yet soft potatoes served alongside many of the dishes— a testament to the kitchen’s keen attention to every component. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch that enhances the entire dining experience.

Although the restaurant’s interiors might lean on the simple side, the honest, vibrant palate the food presents more than makes up for it. The ambiance together with mouthwatering dishes like the Aspen Ridge Cheeseburger with Bacon and Avocado, the comforting Omelette with Boursin Cheese, and the beautifully balanced Superba Grain Bowl craft an inviting weekend brunch destination or a casual weekday retreat.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting Venice, Superba Food + Bread Venice offers a thoughtful, fresh take on classic American breakfast and Californian café culture — a place where the bread is baked fresh, the coffee is thoughtfully crafted, and every bite connects you to the spirit of the locale.

The food here is so fresh and tasty. the eggs, toast, and everything else were on point. The grain pancake was a little underwhelming but still good. We were expecting it to taste like a pancake but it had more of a cornbread texture and taste to it. Like I said, it’s not bad. We were expecting it to taste different when ordering. Bread is freshly baked on location since they are a bakery who supplies for other local businesses. Amazingly beautiful interior design and very open. Lots of seating. Avoid busy hours for breakfast and lunch time if you don’t want to wait in a line.

Stopped by today for brunch. The ambiance was great, and the service was good. The all-day breakfast sandwich was wonderful, including special potatoes on the side that seemed like to be a mix of boiled and baked, different and tasty! We also got a cinnamon bun, which was over sweet and drowned in syrup! a bit much for our taste, though not unusual for the U.S. as sweets tend to be quite sweet. However, the lady manager was so kind, offering to replace the cinnamon bun with a morning bun after explaining they had recently made some recipe changes. The replacement was fresh, delicious, and just the right phase of sweetness for us. Her kindness turned what would have been a 4-star experience into a 5-star one. As for the coffee quality, it was acceptable but as a coffee person I had expected more inside the ACME cups.

My friends and I came to this restaurant for breakfast, and let me tell you — the portions are big and everything was delicious! Sorry I didn’t take any photos for you, but trust me — you won’t regret coming here, no matter what time of day. Just make sure to stop by and try this amazing food in a beautiful Santa Monica location.

Great brunch spot and simple menu. Food portions are pretty big and quite flavourful. Prices are okay. Not the prettiest restaurant tbh. But would come here again! Food is good and service is good. They have a “happy and healthy” 3% fee which is automatically applied… made our bill kind of expensive along with tax and tip. You can remove it though, it’s an opt out thing.

Perfect mixing of flavors in a comfy indoor outdoor setting. BLT focaccia, fried chicken sandwich and tomato toast are outstanding. Fresh and creative. Crispy potatoes are the best- soft like mashed potatoes on inside. Tomato toast is a welcome alternative to avocado. iced Lattes hit the spot. Service from Katie was friendly and very informative. We are happy we followed her suggestions

One of our preferred spots in our Venice neighborhood. Opens early (7am) and closes late (9-10pm) with all-day service. Although it’s a prime spot for weekend brunch, my favorite time to go there is during the weekdays by end of morning or mid-afternoon. I also go there simply to buy my bread or baguette. Made fresh everyday. They have both indoor/outdoor sitting, with a great indoor design, with a nice view on the kitchen. Fresh bread and pastries on top of a good and healthy option menu makes it a delightful place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or diner.

I was recommended this place by friends for the food and it was great! So is the ambiance and great for coffee, breakfast or brunch. The menu is very decent - not too short, nor too elaborate. The quality and taste of the food is great. We had the Elisa’s bowl which is a quinoa salad with kale and Falafel and the Breakfast Burrito. The service needs to be move up to get in line with the rest of the experience. I would definitely recommend it to all and am happy to visit there again.
